JUMP TO RECIPE

Joe and I moved in together about 3 years ago, and ever since, he’s been making these sweet, tart, and refreshing Pineapple Margaritas. Anytime we have a taco night, or any sort of Mexican-ish food, these margaritas are also on the menu. He started from Ina Garten’s recipe and changed it to suit our taste buds, and I think what he’s come up with is simply amazing.

These are the margaritas I crave when I order one at a bar, and I usually leave that bar disappointed because most use a pre-made mix for their margs. Not here though!

We’ve sized it up to serve four people, but it can easily be halved if it’s just you and a friend (or if you’d like to make 2 for yourself, no judgment here!).

Pineapple Margaritas Recipe

Servings: 4
Total Time: 10 minutes

6 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
12 ounces silver tequila
24 ounces pineapple juice
1 ounce simple syrup
Kosher or specialty margarita salt

Combine all of the ingredients in a pitcher. Taste; add additional simple syrup if the mixture is not sweet enough to your liking.

Wipe the rim of your margarita glasses with a lime wedge, then coat the rim with salt.

Add ice to each glass and pour the margarita mixture over top. Garnish with a lime wedge, if desired. Enjoy!
